Delivers a rock-to-rock hydraulic seal across the borehole.The Rock’s new generation S-1 section mill is an extremely reliable hydraulically activated tool for milling section of casing or tubing. The mill is simple in design, is easy to operate, and has an outstanding reputation for milling performance. Milling knives are dressed with high-quality tungsten carbide inserts to provide extended milling footage with maximum rates of penetration.

The S-1 section mill is available in two different models: single-cylinder and dual-cylinder.

Features:

• Milling knives are dressed with tungsten carbide inserts for longer life and the resulting cost savings.

• Milling knives are available with single blades, for equipment and fluids with limited capabilities, or with double blades, for premium equipment and fluids.

• Various nozzle sizes can be predetermined, using our hydraulics software, to achieve the most productive flow pattern and hole cleaning capabilities while milling.

• Dual-cylinder mills provide more hydraulic power to the milling knives, which allows more efficient penetration rates.
